From time to time, we are going to feature a member of our Girl Scout Troop.

Today, we are learning a little more about our Girl Scout Leader Bobbi Camacho.

Troop #2447 Leader

Hello! My name is Bobbi Camacho. The majority of my life, I grew up in Wasco. I have a Bachelors Degree in Liberal Studies with a Concentration in Child Development. I was a teacher, now I stay at home with my 4 kids! My husband is a wildland firefighter. He puts out forest fires.  Our kids go to Golden Oak here in Shafter and love it!  Our family is really excited to get to know each and everyone of you. It's going to be a great year together!

Color is.....Yellow!

Flower is.....a Daisy!

Food is.....Fried Chicken and Mashed Potatoes -OR-any Mexican Food!

Birthday is....November 30! Eek, it's coming up.

Friendship Circle....!

Have some fun with your family and friends at home by practicing your Friendship Circle....!

Remember girls, right hand over left when you cross.

One person starts off and squeezes with their right hand the next persons hand. Go in a circle...!

When you squeeze you can say something you like, a prayer, or just talk about your day...!

Have some family fun...!

Uniforms.

Girls will need to have their uniforms before the Badge Ceremony in November. 

 If they get them before hand, have them wear them to the meetings.

Daisies can choose between the Vest or the Tunic.

They will need Troop Numbers and the yellow Insignia with the World Trefoil Pin and Daisy Membership Pin.

Brownies have the choice of Sash or Vest.

They will need Troop Numbers as well and the Brown Insignia.....and the 2 pins.

 Juniors have the choice of the green Sash or green Vest.

They will need Troop Numbers as well with the green Insignia and World Trefoil Pin and Junior Membership Pin.

 Please put their names on the tags in a permanent marker please.

If you need any help with uniforms, contact any of the Troop Leaders.

I {Bobbi} can pick them up for you. You can get them from the store on Brundage Lane {nearest cross street is H St.} or you can always order online.

Ice Cream Social...!

We kicked off the Girl Scout Year with an Ice Cream Social at Troop Leader Bobbi's house.

All the girls that came will earn this Patch at the Badge Ceremony in December.

If was a time of gathering, games and getting to know one another....!

Thank you Girls for starting our year off on a fun note...!
