Badge/Patch Placement....!

My girls went to that Journey Workshop sponsored by another Troop {fliers were out a couple of meetings.}
With those new Journey's and all the Badges and Patches from our Award Ceremony, I really have no clue where each ones are placed now. I wanted to show you the NEW Placement of each ones in case you are having the same issues as me.

The "Pins" such as the "My Promise, My Faith" and the "Safety Award" and the "Cookie Sale Activity Pin" are ones that the girls achieve on their own at home. I know the Junior Leader gave a packet to each girl in which had information for the girls to complete those pins. If your leaders have not talked with you about achieving them at home and the requirements, please talk with them.
There is also another Journey Workshop coming up on Jan. 14... one for each of the girls to earn another Journey....sponsored by another Troop. Fliers will be out next meeting, if they were not out at Caroling...
Any questions on Badge/Patch Placement....text me...!

Baked Macaroni and Cheese Recipe.

At the Potluck, so many people requested the recipe to Jennifer Hill's Baked Macaroni and Cheese. She typed it out for us to enjoy....! Thank YOU!

Baked Macaroni and Cheese

Ingredients

  • Salt
  • 4 cups elbow macaroni
  • 4 eggs, beaten
  • 4 cups evaporated milk
  • 1 cup butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 5 cups grated sharp cheddar
  • 2 cup bread crumbs (I use Panko, in the Asian foods aisle)
  • 2 teaspoon paprika (I use smoked paprika, but plain is fine too)
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan (The kind commonly used on spaghetti is fine)

Directions

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil over high heat. Add the macaroni and cook, stirring occasionally until it is almost tender, 10 to 12 minutes. Drain, rinse with cold water, and set aside.
In a large bowl, beat the eggs with the milk, ½ of the melted butter, the cayenne pepper, and 2 teaspoons of salt.
Put half the macaroni into a buttered 4-quart casserole dish or a large glass baking dish and top with half the cheddar cheese. Repeat. Pour the milk mixture over the macaroni and cheese.
In a small bowl, mix the bread crumbs with the paprika, the remaining butter, and the Parmesan. Sprinkle the bread crumb mixture over the macaroni and bake until brown and bubbly, 50 to 55 minutes. Check the middle of the dish using a spoon, if the milk and egg mixture is still liquid, return dish to oven for a few minutes until it is absorbed.  Serve warm.

Christmas Party and Award Ceremony...!

We had our Christmas Party last week and it was so much fun...!
The theme was Penguins.
The girls did a Gift Exchange, a Craft Project and practiced a couple of Christmas Carols for our upcoming Community Service Event.
Parents then showed up to have the Award Ceremony and a Potluck.

I made these Oreo Penguins.
The table was set up to look like an iceberg.
We are incredibly blessed to have talented parents who can cook and craft.
Onward to a New Year with our Troop....!
