It's OFFICIAL...from this year forward in the City of Shafter, March 12th will be forever known as Girl Scout Day...!

I think it's totally fabulous.

Our Troop was given the opportunity to accept a Plague with this Proclamation at a City Council Meeting.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I really love our Troop. I do. I think everyone is so amazing.

I've looked into other Troops since I've moved to be honest....and keep traveling the distance because there is just something incredible about the opportunities we provide, the learning they do, the people.

March 12 is Girl Scout Day.

These girls do so much.

The community can see it. We appreciate them.

2012 is the Year of the Girl...and I know...these girls are going places...!

World Thinking Day {Bakersfield}

Our Very First World Thinking Day....!

We signed up for the Big Fresno Fairgrounds World Thinking Day...so our Leader Carolen suggested that we do a trial run at the Bakersfield one...since they had one here this year.

Our Country is Taiwan.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

It was quite the experience. It was hectic with 300 Girls running around, but it was amazing...!

I am nervous and excited about the Fresno one this weekend. We were going to brush up a bit on Taiwan our last meeting, but there was a small fire that someone started at the school where we meet....and didn't get much done.

Oh well...I have faith in the girls. It will be fun. How can the Judges not look at them and think they aren't adorable?!
